Citrus Pet Sitting is owned and operated by Steve Faulhaber. Steve has been raising Italian Greyhounds for 7 years. During that time, he "unofficially" helped out other breeders and friends by caring for their pets. This led to the creation of Citrus Pet Sitting in Citrus County Florida.

Steve is currently working with Labradoodles as assistance dogs for the physically challenged. What is most important about the Labradoodle is their intelligence. It's equal to that of a Border Collie or Australian Shepard, but without the "eye" to work and over-sensitivity to emotion. Labradoodles like to be directed, having been showed how to do something, they'll have a full understanding and delight to perform tasks. To them, it's not a drive to perform, its an enjoyment of activity. These qualities make them perfect candidates for assistance dogs.

Steve will be attending Pet Sitters International, Quest for Excellence 2009.
